Elk Grove Village
History of Winston Grove in Elk Grove Village
Winston Grove was built by Centex Homes Corporation in the early 1970's. By that time, Centex had built more than 10,000 homes in the Chicagoland area. There initially were 5 models offered at Winston Grove and they started at $33,900 to $42,900. You could add a basement at the cost of $2,000 - $3,000 depending on the model. Many homes that were built prior to this time period by Centex did not offer basements so this was a very attractive option for buyers.

With Winston Grove being west of Route 53, it is in Elk Grove Village but is in district for Schaumburg schools (District 54 and 211) and library. The park district is Elk Grove Village. Winston Grove has an amazing location with it being close to everything that you need such as shopping, restaurants, expressways, train and hospital. It's no wonder why so many are proud to call it home!
