Her Rolling Acres Farm also won the coveted awards at the International Livestock Exposition in Chicago for both premier exhibitor and premier breeder of Guernsey cattle. That year, she won the purple ribbon for the grand champion Guernsey cow at the exposition for the 5th straight year. In 1989, she sold Odlum Farm, which stretched between Hanover Park and Roselle, to developers for $35-$40 million dollars.

The developer had a goal to offer a streamlined lifestyle with maintenance free stylish homes in the convenience of a Roselle location. Pasquinelli Construction Company was a popular builder that already had over 30 years of experience by the early 1990s.
