The data below is compiled for June 2026 vs June 25 and 24 for Schaumburg Township which covers Schaumburg and the cities around it that are in the Township. Showings Per Listing Starting Its Annual Decline
The number of Showings Per Listing is starting its annual decline. This is caused by more inventory coming to the market as well as buyer traffic going down. The below graph shows buyer traffic from last year (blue line) and this year (orange line) so you can see this is nothing uncommon. Showings Per Listing will decline from this point until we get to December and then will start to move back up in January. It is still a good time to sell but prices will likely peak this mo

Showing Activity Is On Its Way Down!
Dramatic headline but nothing new here. This happens every year. We have hit the peak in showing activity for the year and now it will be trending down for the rest of the year. The blue line below is 2025 and orange line is for 2026. It's still a good time to sell as showing activity is robust but every week that goes by there will be less and less buyers entering the market and more listings coming to the market.
