Meadow Knolls in Schaumburg
Meadow Knolls is one of the oldest subdivisions in Schaumburg. It is located southeast of Wise Road and Roselle Road. This neighborhood was built by the Branigar Organization and consists of mid to large sized single family homes. The Branigar Organization was owned by Harvey W. Branigar who became chairman of the firm after serving in World War II. This company was originally formed by his father and uncles around World War I. It purchased and developed some parcels of land around the Chicagoland area as well as other states. Some of their more well-known developments include Indian Lakes in Bloomingdale and the Galena Territory at Apple Canyon Lake near Galena.

Meadow Knolls is now a highly sought-after place to live. The neighborhood has an almost country like feel with its larger lots, abundance of mature trees, and a variety of home sizes and styles with equally diverse landscaping. Each street in this beautiful neighborhood offers a unique glimpse into the customized ideas that flourished in this community development. This area is conveniently located with quick access to nearby parks, expressways, neighboring towns, shopping including the famous Woodfield Mall, restaurants, and the Metra train station. It is also in close proximity to the beautiful Schaumburg Library and the town square which hosts many events throughout the year. Although surrounded by the growing villages of Schaumburg, Roselle and Elk Grove, Meadow Knolls still provides a bit of an escape from it all.
