Heritage in Schaumburg
Heritage is a small neighborhood which lies south of Schaumburg Road, north of Weathersfield Way and spreads across both sides of Summit Drive. This beautiful and nicely manicured neighborhood consists of midsized to large homes that were built in the 1980s.
There are a lot of leisurely activities in close proximity to the neighborhood such as the Prairie Center for the Arts, Septemberfest, Summer Breeze, a scenic pond, a Sculpture Park with trails, Spring Valley Nature Center, Heritage Farm, and Bison’s Bluff.
Also conveniently located is the Meineke Recreation Center which is part of the Schaumburg Park District. It is home to one of the park district’s fitness centers and offers many amenities including an Olympic-sized pool with diving boards, slides, park, basketball & tennis courts and a sled hill. Heritage is also close to major state highways, restaurants, shopping, and businesses which makes it a great place to live.

Easily walk to the Schaumburg library, Lou Malnati's or Menchies! One fun fact is that the Fire Engine Park on Summit Drive originally had an old fire engine there but that was replaced with more modern playground equipment.
