Cutters Mill
Cutters Mill in Schaumburg
Cutters Mill is a medium to large single family Country Home community north of Schaumburg Road, south of Bode Road and west of Springingsguth Rd. This 65-acre piece of land was shared between Zale Group Construction Co. and United Development. The Zale Group was a construction company from Arlington Heights. United Development was a Chicago based residential and commercial real estate and management company that began single family and town home developments in the Chicagoland area.
One of the biggest attractions from this development was its location, large family style homes, affordable prices, and proximity to the schools. These attractive homes have 3-4 bedrooms, master bedrooms with private baths, formal living and dining rooms, family rooms and 2 car garages as their standard feature. They were designed with families in mind. Most of the buyers at the time were people from the Schaumburg area who were wanting to get their second home so they can grow with their families more comfortably. Cutters Mill which opened in October of 1984, sold out in July of 1985 and the second phase of development began shortly after that.
This community is directly across the street from one of the Schaumburg Park District Recreation Centers which houses a gym, swimming pool and other amenities. It is also near schools, parks, major retailers, shopping, dining, major expressways, and Woodfield Mall,
