Ashton Park is an upscale townhouse community in Schaumburg situated on a 20-acre site on the northside of Schaumburg Road and Summit Drive which is east of Roselle Road. This neighborhood overlooks a lake and includes 130 units which consist of 28 buildings; each containing 3 to 6 units per building.
These beautiful and luxurious townhomes were built by Hoffman Homes and the final plat was approved in 1986. This well-known builder was established in the mid-1950s and is credited to having built many homes in Schaumburg and neighboring towns. The Ashton Park homes were designed by award-winning Philadelphia architect, The Martin Organization. The development even won a prestigious Gold Key Award, which is the highest award, for architectural design by the Home Builder’s Association of Greater Chicago. This award was considered the “Oscars” of the local-home building industry.
Ashton Park offers 6 different 2-story models which range from 1,368 to 1,891 square feet. They have a combination of Traditional and Continental style exterior elevations with staggered roof lines, 2-story Palladian (arched) windows, bay windows, skylights, bright breakfast nooks, vaulted ceilings, lofts overlooking the foyer and living room, angled walls and stairways, gourmet-style kitchens, fireplaces, 2-car garages, private entries, and patios. The Schaumburg Town Square is only a few minutes away and is home to the beautiful Schaumburg Public Library as well as other eateries and businesses.
