History of Parcel C in Hoffman Estates
The Parcel C subdivision is located at the northwest corner of Roselle Road and Schaumburg Road. It consists of mainly ranch homes with a sprinkling of split and raised ranch models as well.
This subdivision was built by Sam and Jack Hoffman who were owners of the Father and Son Construction Company, also known as F&S Construction. Building in Parcel C began in the late 1950's. They originally started with building on Parcel A, which is between Higgins and Golf Roads and those were half acre lots. When they then built Parcel B and C they petitioned, and were approved, to build the homes on smaller quarter acre lots.
